The night before we left, we drove up to the beach to see the fireworks (every Wednesday night during the summer). Lily hadn't really seen fireworks of this magnitude before. We obviously don't have 4th of July fireworks displays here in Norway...the only fireworks displays are on New Year's Eve at midnight...and she is already asleep by then. She thought they were loud, but enjoyed them! The whole family turned out to go...we had Joe & Ella, along with Brittany; Tammie & Glenn along with Dante (Casey had left for FL to visit his dad by then), Rich's parents and our family.
