Hiking and Glaciers....
We left Voss and travelled a couple of hours southwest to Flogefonna Nasjonalpark, to hike to the 3rd largest glacier in Norway. It covers 168 sq km. It's the only national park in Norway which extends from a fjord up to a glacier. We got kinda wet during this hike. We took about two hours or so walking. The glacier was a bit harder to see during this time of year because there was still a lot of snow. However, if you look for the bright blue ice inbetween the mountain tops, that is it! It was beautiful...even in the rain!
The run off was amazing....lots of waterfalls. There was a lake and then a stream that ran down the area we were hiking in. The water in Norway is very clean. We were able to refill our water bottles often there!
