Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I wanted to enclose a couple of pictures from today. The bowl is the pattern of the Polish pottery that I got as gifts from the kids today. I love this spring pattern with blue bells on it. Each of the kids gave me a serving platter or casserole dish. This is my prayer bowl that I keep on my kitchen table. In it I have little pieces of paper with prayer intentions. Some are general, some are for specific things for specific people. I walk by it 100 times a day and everytime I see it, it reminds me to pray for those people.
Okay...the picture quality isn't great, but you get the idea...this is my first hand-written mother's day card from Lily. Granted, many of you might see the following:
MOW i (square) u LiLt
However, it does say in her best 4 year old penmanship : Mom, I (heart) U Lily
She has all of a sudden really started liking to write letters. She can write Dad and Mom. Tim and Joe are also in her repertoire (she is so lucky to have all her family members have only 3 letters!) Anyhow, I wanted to share that!

Handwritten cards are the best!
