On February 6th, Rich, Lily and I left for five days in Switzerland. There was a conference that Rich was attending in Zurich and he took a couple of extra days to travel around with Lily and me. These are a few pictures from the beautiful city of Zurich. The little hamburger cookies are called Luxemburgerli and are sold at a famous and old (1836) candy shop in Switzerland. The bretzel (or pretzels) they had there were phenomenal. We could buy loaves of pretzel bread...which we did and snacked on while we traveled. We lived on Swiss cheese, pretzel bread and Swiss chocolate for most of our outings. :o)
