Kittery Trading Post
On a very very very very rainy day (evidently there was a band of heavy rain that we just kept traveling up and down that day), we drove up to Maine and back down to NH. We stopped at the Kittery Trading Post...and got this obligatory moose picture...
Anheuser Busch and the Clydesdales
One of the days, our family went to the Anheuser Busch factory in Merrimack, NH. It is one of 4 of the breweries that has the Clydesdale horses. It was the first Saturday of the month, where the stables are open for visitors and you can take pictures with the horses. We took Rich's parents with us and our nephew, Dante. We also took a tour of the factory with free samples at the end. (we had soft drinks - we aren't beer drinkers). However, watching the huge conveyor belts of bottles...I really wanted to break out into the "Laverne and Shirley" theme song.... :o)
Weir's Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH
We spent one day on Weir's Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. It was a lot of fun. We packed a picnic lunch and rented a boat, jetski, water skis and an innertube. Tammie and her two boys came, Joe, Rich's parents, and our family. It was a great day!
The pictures of the birds...we happen to grab a picnic table under a tree of an anxious momma bird trying to get her babies to fly. As a result, they more or less fluttered down to us, versus flying anywhere.
